In Turkish society, an important literary genre among the mold word phrases in our oral culture tradition, kargışlar is one of our most important words that reflect the culture, life, beliefs, traditions and customs of the people from past to present. The curse that emerges and develops within the oral literature tradition is used as a response to a social need. After the adoption of Islam by the Turks, the kargış, which have been widely used in many literary genres from our pre-Islamic Turkish literature works until today, have been met with the term curse. The fact that Kargış are very rich and diverse in terms of subject and place of use makes it difficult to classify. Conflicts, especially separation, sickness, death, hostility, evil, fire, flood, earthquake, poverty, despair, etc. It is the expression of human response with a common emotion and behavior. Kargışlar is generally a movement that weak, helpless, orphans, widows and oppressed people resort to as a last resort when their hope is exhausted and they have nothing to do. Religious, sociological and psychological reasons come to the fore among these factors that underlie confusion. Conflicts are taking shelter in Allah in cases where a person cannot cope, cannot afford, and is desperate, and relaxes himself psychologically by expressing his right in a spiritual way. Preventing the desires that people want to realize in the society they live in brings along various social and psychological problems. It is at that moment that the chaos comes to the rescue of mankind and is passed down from generation to generation as an indispensable need.
