The Turkish nation, which has a long history, has created many works thanks to the language it has created. Cultural elements among these works are the most important assets of language. Books have an important place in language teaching. The need for foreign language learning is increasing with the developing technology. For this reason, books have an important place in foreign language teaching, at the same time, while learning the target language, the cultural transfer of that language is as important as learning the language. In this context, many books have been written by institutions for teaching Turkish to foreigners. In this study, Turkish Yaşamak (A1,A2) textbook set was analyzed in terms of culture transfer. The research method was determined by document analysis, which is a qualitative research method. The analysis of the data was analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The Turkish Living Set (A1 and A2) used in teaching Turkish has 48 items at A1 level and 104 items at A2 level in terms of cultural elements. 61 items are cities and historical places, followed by 25 items on arts, sports and literature; 18 items on idioms, proverbs and sayings; 15 items on food culture; 12 items on beliefs; 7 items on traditions; 7 items on cultural sayings; 3 items on social life and others; 2 items on communication and transportation; 2 items on clothing. When these headings are examined, it is determined that very few items are included in some headings. In addition, it is seen that the same cities are frequently included, especially in the title of cities. Our local dishes are also given very little space. More elements of our culture should be included.
