Abstract

In 2019, Prof. Dr. Under the editorship of Ömer Adıgüzel, Assoc. Dr. The book, translated into Turkish by Perihan Korkut, is expected to make an important contribution to the development of drama in Turkey. The aim of the book Getting Started with Drama 4-11; To introduce the basic principles of drama teaching to preschool and primary school teachers, to provide them with many examples that can give them the starting points of drama, and to present a clear, useful, integrating theory and practice approach for them to develop their own drama practices. The target audience of the book written within the framework of this purpose; pre-school teachers, primary school teachers, drama trainers and drama beginners. As a result, it can be said that the book "Beginning with Drama 4-11" is a qualified resource that will increase the drama teaching knowledge of preschool and primary school teachers and guide them. Because the basic terms and structuring of drama are handled in an applicable way. Considering that drama is a dynamic, constantly changing and developing field, teachers who are interested in drama; It can be considered as a qualified resource that can renew themselves in drama, that every teacher can easily benefit from, theory and practice run simultaneously, and that can also contribute significantly to the development of drama both in the international arena and in Turkey.
