Edatların Metin Bağlamında İncelenmesi: Faruk Nafız Çamlıbel Şiirleri Örneği

Abstract

Prepositions are words that do not have meanings on their own, but mostly come after noble words, establishing various meaning relations between this word and other words in the sentence, or link sentences together, thus assuming a grammatical task in syntax. The elements of the sentence determine the meaning and function of the prepositions. In this respect, prepositions are a kind of cooperative language unions, and they can be considered as tools for establishing various relations between other word groups in the sentence. In this respect, it is of great importance to examine prepositions in the context of text. Poetry, as an accumulation of experience filtered from feelings, thoughts, dreams, aspirations, in the text types, sometimes attributing different meanings to the lexical meanings of words, creating a special language in the language, using images, symbols, art of speech, rhythm, harmony. It is a type of writing that evokes aesthetic feelings. In this respect, the type of poetry was preferred in our study and the prepositions in Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel's poems were examined with examples in the context of the text.
